Wilderness bow

The Wilderness bow is the Ranger subpath weapon.

History

In the lands of the Wilderness there is a brotherhood of Nomads, although hard to track, they can be found.. if they want you to find them. The leader of this group of Nomads went by the name that of Angelica. This group of Wilderness dwellers called themselves the 'Rangers'. The group took pride in protecting the wilderness, yet there were some problems they could not handle.

In the northern part of these wild lands, there had been poachers jumping about, and this caused the Rangers deep anger. The problem was that if they had found a poacher, Poachers knew of the Rangers and knew that their main skill was in the art of Camouflage. These poachers had taken precautions to counter this art, and also wore light armor that no arrow could penetrate. The Rangers deployed a band of walkers, whom named their group the Archery Division. The Archers reported to Angelica, telling her that none of their Explosive arrows could get through the armor and would only cause further damage to the wild, and the Sleep arrows could not penetrate the poachers skin because the bows that they were forced to use were too weak.

Angelica sought help from an ancient Ranger, this man had brought the Rangers to life, he had started the string of brotherhood known as the Rangers. She knew that he held much knowledge of bows for he held pride in himself in the skill of Archery and forging Bows. She questioned him asking him if he knew of any bow strong enough to penetrate even the toughest of armors and skins. The old man, who was on the brink of death, taught her all he knew.

"Angelica, this bows materials are in the heart of the Wilderness, you must promise me that you will take care of it with your life until there are more forged."

"I promise."

"To create the shaft to the bow, you must forage a branch off of the highest point in the great tree which is feared and called the 'Man-Shik'."

"The Man-Shik... but... Not even I have enough skill to climb his fearsome branches, he is an evil being, and is extremely strong and full of wisdom through the ages..."

"I know of a man who can scout over to the location and get the job done easy, you know of him, just tell him to get the branch to the far right at the highest point."

"Ah... I know whom you speak of now."

"Yes, Spectrumboy."

"Now, the next thing you must do is us your camouflage abilities and scout into the depths of the Du mountain; there you will find an old man who holds a Demon dagger--"

"--But, we can make Demon daggers right here in our home!"

"Calm yourself, child, this old man had made a Special Demon dagger, its edge is made purely of Diamond, the only material that can carve notches into the Man-shik's branch."

"Ah.."

"Now, at the Du Mountain he may ask you why you need this Demon dagger, just ensure him that your brothers will protect his wolves... Oh! Also ask him if you could use some of his wolves as messengers and protectorate, tell him that in exchange you will provide him with fine rabbit meats and clothing.."

"Alright, what next?"

"Ah, now for the string, you must travel to the dark forest and collect the ghostly hair of the Mahjum, after soaking it in the Orb of a Charm, it will be able to form a string strong enough for the bow."

"Hmm.. So after this, the bow will be done after fixing everything together?"

"Yes, child, but never let the secret of this creation out to the civilians of the towns; they will not know how to handle such power."

"I must start at once.."

After Angelica had let the word out, Spectrumboy traveled to the Man-Shik right away and brought a branch that seemed so Perfect that it left the walkers in awe. Angelburn had traveled into the forest to collect the hair, and came back only a day later, the poachers had made a lot of progress; but soon it would be stopped. Angelica had personally talked to the old man at the Du mountain, and came back with two black wolves and a Dagger.

Angelica implemented the notches into the bow and it was done. After seeing the massive power of the bow, testing it with each arrow, it was obvious that it would work.

The members of the Archery division quickly scouted the lands, searching for the poachers. After one of the Archers spotted them, he motioned for the others to follow, each equipped with a miraculous bow; which only six had been made. The poachers never stood a chance, they were done as soon as they had started and Balance to the lands had been restored. The Rangers were soon known for their craftsmanship in such a Bow, and were noted for their skills in Archery and Camouflage. The old man who held the secret to the bow faded and was no longer known, the secret to the bow was passed on between each elder and leader of the group, the Rangers.
