History of the Forsaken Clan

In the third decade of King Yuri's reign, Prince Kija of Nagnang opened his doors to Kugnae, Buya, and the people of the Wilderness. Intimidated by the power of Prince Kija and knowing the warring nature of Nagnang, King Yuri's soldiers attacked the villages, killing men, women, and children all alike.

Blight, a Barbarian and a trainer of the city of Nagnang, begged Prince Kija to close the gates again in order to stop the slaying of their people. Prince Kija would not heed Blights request. Blight took the matter into his own hands, he called upon the other trainers of Nagnag: Atrophy, Contagion, Abscess, and Marasmus to help him defend their kingdom. Their attack upon the Mythic Vale was relentless. Blight did everything in his power to attempt to assassinate King Yuri: He successfully dueled leaders of all the King's clans, he captured and harassed clan walkers, and Blight's sister, Malady, invoked a love spell upon King Yuri. Just before the two were to be wed, the subjects of the King came to his aide and found an antidote to the enchantment.

Eventually the two kingdoms moved to retaliate, Blight had to turn to his brother Nagnag for assistance. Nagnag agreed but charged Blight to gather weapons and armor for the oncoming battle. Blight called upon the admirers of Nagnang to gather the equipment they would need. In return Blight granted those that helped him a new home in Nagnang and membership to the Forsaken clan. The warriors of Nagnang laid a trap for the armies of Kugnae and Buya and were successful in defending their homelands. An alliance was formed between KaKhan of the Sonhi and Blight; they agreed to overtake Buya together. Also, possibly because of their Sonhi origins an alliance between the Barbarians and the Forsaken occurred as well.

KaKhan and Blight were successful in sacking the city of Buya but something happened that the insightful Blight didn't expect. KaKhan murdered all of Blight's soldiers that remained in the walls of Buya after the city was occupied. Blight, enraged by KaKhan's foolish actions planted a bomb at the southern gate of Buya and the Buyans were able to take their city from KaKhan. The alliance between the Barbarians and The Forsaken Clan was ended as well. Though some Barbarians agreed to this, many still thought of the Forsaken as their kin. Blight, for the time being, returned to his home in Nagnang.

Interesting Facts

  • Forsaken clan was originally established by Nexon as an experimental clan. It was supposed to run entirely by Blight, an NPC. That eventually proved a major failure.
  • The Forsaken clan hall was once 10x10. (Talk about cramped!)
  • It remains the only clan that has had a Primogen that was engaged to an official Royal. (Azelle & Kija)
  • Their first Primogen was an Archon as well.

The Forsaken Clan's current Primogen is Blinkeman with DecayingZomb as Primarch. The Forsaken Clan makes it's home in Nagnang. A complete list of members can be found here. It's official website can be found at The Forsaken Shrine.
