In Nexus, there are four paths, or classes, from which to choose.
- Mage: primarily spellcasters
- Poet: primarily healers
- Warrior: primarily fighter
- Rogue: combination (limited) spellcaster/fighter
Upon reaching the 5th insight all players are asked to choose their path. The Nexus for Novices option provides further information on each path, and allows the Peasant to warp to the town guild of their chosen path. There, the path is chosen from the Guildmaster.
