Remembrance Fans event

The Remembrance Fans event, also known as the ' Festival of Fans was a storyline event that was released on September 6th, 2002.

History

"Dear Nexus players,

One year ago America was attacked in one of the largest terrorist attacks ever. In memory of the people who lost their lives, as well as to remember personal friends and family, Nexus will be holding a Festival of Fans.

During this time we are inviting old Nexus players back to visit with friends they left behind in the game by registering all expired accounts for free starting the evening of September 10th, and ending on the morning of September 12th. People who currently have accounts will have the accounts extended by one day as well.

During this time players will be able to get special fans to remember people from the past, and to strengthen bonds with current friends. We invite everybody to attend the festival, and hope you will take this opportunity to remember the past, and to cherish the future."

During this event players we able to engrave special fans 'In the memory of <player name>' to honor people who had been lost to us.
