Armies of the dead? No, you misunderstand. Creating armies of undead to do his bidding was not his goal. He wanted to strike the gods down from the heavens! But power calls to power, death calls to death. The bones begin to walk when the Bringer of Bones is on the move.

Raising his arms into the air he began to chant... I do not know what he was saying but as he spoke those words the winds began to pick up... the clouds in the sky opened up.... By the gods! His flesh began to melt from his body but he did not flinch nor even blink an eye...  He merely continued to speak in that mumbled tongue... Kajang is an event character villain.

Character Biography

Kajang was a powerful mage that found a dark source of magic that would give him unlimited power. His problem was that he could not control his power and therefore he killed anyone who he tried to save: when trying to pet his rat, Gobu, he eventually killed it.

Kajang's power was his destiny. Consumed by his power of death, Kajang became the leader of skeletons and eventually became one of them. Kajang offered a reward of a Gobu's favor or Hunter's glove to anyone who could find a way to restore Gobu. Yet, to find their ways to do that, people had to venture into Kajang's crypt and were attacked by several skeletons. The community had to gather bones to revive the pet and fur to make gloves for him. Kajang soon realized his pet could not be revived and banned everyone from his crypt. Kajang's crypt remains sealed inside the Koguryo cemetery.

The sage Kamani studied much about Kajang.

The Crypt Boards

During the event, an event character named Mudang posted information about Kajang on boards that sat outside his crypts. Much of this information came from the notes of a man named Kamani.

I, Mudang, greet you, citizens of the Nexus. I have heard of the eclipse which soon approaches. Bad news, dark news, follows the darkness of the sky.

I have traveled far learning of the one called Kajang. I have heard much about him, yes, much, but most was lies and tales to scare children. I, I alone, know the truth of Kajang. Shall I share it?

He used this power to bring forth the dead. Thus came his name, the Bringer of Bones.
