This is a game where two oponents face eachother using nothing but a bow and Sleep arrows. Participants are asked to equip a spring type armor and a bow only. They have to remove all rings and helms. The goal is to sleep the oponent. Duels are usually played best out of three games. The individual winner advances to the next round of the tournament. The overall winner of a tournament will in general be recognized as an archer and receive a skill branding.
Archery tournaments are hosted in either Renegade's Retreat or in Rustic Sanctuary. Different arenas can have a different influence on the tactics used.
For detail : An arrow flies in either a horizontal or vertical line. Timing is the key factor when shooting. The spell sleep is cast on the oponent upon hitting the target. Wether or not the effect is cast depends on the successrate which is influenced by AC (armor class) and totem protection.
