G'oh

G'oh is an ancient board game that will test the limits of not just your wits but also your ability to drop items onto the ground.

Rules

The rules of G'oh are straightforward, outlined in the following points:

  1. The game of G'oh involves two players.
  2. Each player is equipped with 52 limestone and 52 obsidian pieces.
  3. Players roll a 100-sided die to determine who makes the first move. In the event of a tie, resolve it through a battle to the death.
  4. The winner of the die roll starts as Black (obsidian) and must place the first piece at the center-most intersection of the board.
  5. Players alternate turns after the first move.
  6. Each piece must be placed adjacent to any other piece on the board, regardless of color.
  7. The goal is to connect exactly five pieces in a row to win. Connecting more than five does not constitute a win, and the game continues.
  8. Players place a piece by dropping it onto the chosen board intersection. The move is finalized once the player steps away from the piece.
  9. After completing a turn, players should stand at least two spaces away from any board piece to ensure clear visibility and access for the opponent.
  10. Players must disable GROUP and WHISPERS features during a match.
  11. Each turn is limited to five minutes. Failure to move within this timeframe results in forfeiting the game.
  12. If a player disconnects, they have a five-minute window to reconnect. Failing to do so will result in a forfeit.
  13. Disruptive behavior leads to immediate disqualification from the game.
