The NexusWiki "Edit Your Way To Riches" Contest is a contest for a chance to win 1,000,000 coins by creating or adding new content to the wiki. At the end of the month, we will select one lucky contributor at random to win based on the Recent Changes report of modifications to the wiki. Please be sure to carefully read all the details below before attempting to enter the contest.

Prize

1,000,000 coins will be awarded at random to a randomly selected contributor of at least one Qualified Edit to the wiki.

Qualified Edit

  • A Qualified Edit is considered new content contributed to either a newly created article or to an existing article.
  • All contributions must be consistent with the Guidelines in order to qualify.
  • Edits that have an unreasonable amount of factual, grammatical, or other errors will not count as an entry.
  • Minor edits such as spelling, punctuation, and minor grammar do not qualify as an entry to the contest. However, minor edits correcting an item's stats or some other factual reference does count as an entry.
  • Edits to a Talk page or to your own user page do not count.
  • Only one edit per article counts toward your entries.

Contest Period

  • The contest will run from 12:01am PST on the first day of the month to 11:59pm PST on the last day of the month.
  • In the first week of the next month, the entries from the previous month will be tallied and a winner chosen.
  • The winner will be announced in-game and on NexusWiki by the 15th of the month following the contest period.

Eligibility

  • In order to win the Prize, you must make edits with a NexusWiki username that corresponds to your user in the game exactly. For example, if your in-game name is Grin and you make edits to the site under the account Grin123 or Grinning, you will not be eligible for the Prize.
  • The winner will have two weeks (14 days) from the time the winner is announced to claim their prize.
  • In the event a winner is found to ineligible for the prize due to the above rules, a new winner will be chosen again at random.
