Angels originally were volunteer players who helped new players with common playing problems which many new players experienced due to NexusTK not possessing a very good tutorial system initially. The Archon Hroth was the Angel Primogen.

After a functional tutorial system was created, the Angels were disbanded. Unofficially however, there was rumors that Angels were disbanded primarily because of a few troublemakers who had abused their GM-level abilities for their own personal gain.

While some of the Angels moved on to become Archons, most of them were essentially "de-commissioned".

The decision to disband the Angels caused some bad blood between Hroth and Mordechai (who were opposed to the disbandment of the Angels) against NEXON INC., resulting in the resignation of both Hroth and Mordechai as Archons.
