"Pay to Play" is a term attributed to any online game which requires a monthly server maintance fee for logging into and playing on the official servers of a game publisher.
The monthly fee can be anywhere from $5 to $40.
NexusTK charges a monthly server maintance fee of $9.99 per month for a four character account.
