JaydePhoenix and the Sea Nymph

Many still remember in fear at the power that was unleashed from the Darkstaff and it's wielder, Orb. The awesome power this staff wielded was so strong, in fact, that it corrupted one of the most powerful God's at the time, Orb. Many still tremble at the thought of that staff's power, but after the destruction of the Staff, many sighed a sigh of relief. There was no need to fear anymore, the staff was destroyed?..or was it?

The staff had indeed been destroyed, but a fragment, a piece of the Darkstaff, had Remained, and was residing at the bottom of the waters. This was not known to the lands and was to remain a secret?..until the Sea Nymph appeared in Kugnae. The Sea Nymph herself had ignored all pleas from Prince Mhul, who had seeked her help to aid in the imprisonment of Sagu, and in many vain attempts did Eldridge, the Spirit Guide, ask the Sea Nymph to return the Onyx that contained the captive soul of Sagu. But alas, she had appeared now to help all the kingdom's rejoiced in her appearance and celebrated the magical Sea Nymph's beauty. She could not return the enthusiasm, however. She herself was in fact, dying. She claimed the waters to be poisoned. All the waters of the lands would need a cleansing, and she could not explain to the people why the waters were poisoned. Upon hearing this revelation, JaydePhoenix, ambitious in her thirst for power, began to consult the darker spirits for assistance in finding the cause of this power, this power strong enough to be able to corrupt and destroy an element as abundant as water and the magical Sea Nymph that resided within it. She would not be thwarted. This was an opportunity that must be taken.

The citizens of the lands, in the meanwhile unsuspecting of JaydePhoenix's plans, rushed to aid the Sea Nymph, but soon realized they would not be able to help her without purging the water of it's poison. All life on the earth were beginning to wither and die. Something had to be done. A meeting was called, all the Circle's of the land, from every walk of life, came to discuss plans with Prince Mhul and the Sea Nymph. The Shaman circle, however, was not invited. It was said that their dark ways would be of no use to them. The Shaman Elder was enraged.

JaydePhoenix, while the people where having their meeting, went to the river's herself, and received a vision. She began to see a shallow grave?.filled with water to the brim?..it was too dark to see at first, but slowly, she saw it was a small fragment of something?ah, yes, she could see what it was now. She believed it was Sagu himself, that showed her the location of the remaining DarkStaff piece. She gave out a wicked grin as she stuck her hand in the waters and retrieved the staff. She now knew what had caused the trouble?this piece?.this fragment?.still wielded immense power. She stuck it inside of her pouch and returned home.

In the palace, it had been decided to purge the waters of this plague, they would be forced to perform a ritual. The Sea Nymph led them to a shore that nobody had ever laid eyes on, it had been a secret since the beginning of time, but the Sea Nymph needed them here. Dae Shore was now filled with people, preparing themselves for the purging of the ritual. The Sea Nymph began to speak, when a great roar was heard, sending chills down the very spines of the Sea Nymph. The Sea beast, rose from the waters, covered in seaweed and scales glistening, it roared.

Everyone's attention was directed at this terrible beast, but for a moment, was taken by an audible cackle. The citizens turned around, and the Sea Nymph recognized what had happened. JaydePhoenix, wielding a piece of the DarkStaff, had summoned forth this beast from the waters. The Sea beast let out a terrible roar and began to strike the members of every circle, seeking to destroy every last one of them. JaydePhoenix watched and laughed, she had now acquired a great power. The fighter's of the land began to wield their weapons of war, the sorcerers began to attack and consume the Sea beast with flames. The Sea beast had been slain and JaydePhoenix was nowhere to be found.

The Sea Nymph now knew it was the DarkStaff piece that had poisoned the waters, and although it had been removed, it would still require purging. Another ritual was performed, and the waters were purged. JaydePhoenix remained with the DarkStaff piece, for no one would be foolish enough to try to take it from her?..but?.it is rumored that this is not the only piece in existence??could this be true?
